Build your brand with consistency

Sublimation

Dye Sublimation is a printing technique that uses heat transfer to apply an image to fabric. The first step is to print the image on high-release inkjet transfer paper using our state-of-the-art Sublimation Printers. The second step is to feed the printed paper and fabric through our Industrial Rotary Thermo-processing Heat Presses. The heat and pressure convert the ink from solid to gaseous form and allow it to penetrate the fabric and create a permanent colour bond. Once the heat is removed, the dye returns to solid and the process is complete. As the colour is embedded in the fabric rather than printed on the surface, the colour will not fade or crack after washing. The process allows for unlimited colour and artwork options at no extra cost. Time Clothing is one of the country’s leading experts in this process with state-of-the-art machinery and the capacity to print over 1000 garments per day.

Digital printing, cutting and heat transfer

We use our industrial digital printing and cutting machine to produce printed vinyl and flex applications that are either applied to wholesale garments using flat-bed heat presses or used for the manufacture of items such as signage, tackle bags and pole protectors.

Embroidery

Our in-house embroidery department has 28 heads operational and the ability to run 24-hour shifts. In addition, we have almost unlimited overflow capacity with local partners should this be required.

The power of our people

Positioned in the heart of the Eastern Cape on the outskirts of South Africa’s second-largest township, our culture is steeped in the rich heritage of the Xhosa people that make up most of our staff. We currently employ about 350 people, 41 of whom have been employed for more than 20 years.

We are on a drive to employ the youth of our region and to upskill our existing team members. This goal is actively being reached through the set-up of a training school. The facility includes a functioning production line where recruits are trained in basic sewing skills and our experienced machinists are up-skilled on the more sophisticated machines.
