Established in 1994, Time Clothing started as a family business in the former Ciskei on the outskirts of Mdantsane- South Africa’s second- largest township.
Specialising in work- and sportswear, Time Clothing became one of the industry leaders in South Africa. Placed right in the vicinity of some of SA’s largest fabric suppliers, Time Clothing had developed a modern value chain approach, which still exists to this day.
In 2021 the existing owners started to initiate their succession plan. Ashwood Holdings, an operational spin off was founded in order to widen the operational scope of the factory.
In April 2023, the factory was acquired by Mrs. Louella Mathapelo Frances, thereby merging Louella’s 30 year experience in corporate wear with the technical capacities of the Factory. A perfect match.
With new management, a renewed approach to processes and product range, Time Clothing is now set up to continue its success story in the South African Clothing Arena.

We produce in SA, we are SEDEX certified and respect our local labour relations.
We bring the interest of youth back into the fold of factory operations. In cooperation with our local government we are training young and energetic individuals to learn the traits of production and design.
